Act now to oppose a Mr. Splash Car Wash & Vacuum Lot at the corner of Buckeye and Stoughton Rd frontage road, which would open fall 2027, if approved.

Impact on Lake Edge Neighborhood:

• High-decibel, high-frequency noise level unhealthy for people and pets  living immediately adjacent and nearby in Lake Edge Neighborhood homes. Proposal includes 20 parking bays, each equipped with an outdoor commercial-grade, high-powered vacuum unit. To hear what this sounds like, visit Mr. Splash at 3837 East Washington Ave.
• Increased traffic at an already hazardous corridor, making the intersection even more dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. A 3rd-party traffic safety study has not been conducted. At the East Wash Mr. Splash, waiting cars spill onto the side street during peak times. 
• Near-constant impact: Mr. Splash Car Washes are open 13 hours per day, 365 days per year. Noise and traffic congestion peak during evenings and weekends. 

Voice your opposition by Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the day the Dane County Zoning and Land Regulation Committee is scheduled to vote to approve the project.
