Thanks for joining the effort to reclaim the Libertarian Party of Georgia. You recently took the first step by signing the Georgia Dissent’s Change.org petition condemning the decision to join the Kennedy Victory Fund. In that petition, we called on all Georgia Libertarians to join us at our next State Convention where we can elect new leadership to get the Party back on track.
It is time to take the next steps toward fully restoring the Libertarian Party of Georgia.

The current leadership of the Libertarian Party of Georgia has badly lost its way. The Kennedy Victory Fund was one of many egregious violations of our trust in our leadership. These repeated, egregious violations have endangered the Party’s future and disrespected the work of those who built the party. These include: confusing the public about our message of Liberty, misuse of our social media accounts, lack of transparency in LP of GA operations, inappropriate use of procedures to rush decisions, lack of support for our LP Presidential candidate, and sacrificing our credibility with the infamous decision to join the Kennedy Victory Fund.
Until recently, we respected each other’s opinions and worked toward consensus and compromise with our Libertarian principles at the center. We intend to restore respect and consensus building.
This situation is not going to fix itself.
Fortunately, a group of principled, dissident Libertarians are working to reclaim the Party from those who aspire to dominate it without broad consensus.
The State Convention is the only opportunity to come together as a body and make our voices heard. Your attendance this year is crucially important because this is our only opportunity to elect new leadership.
This is an invitation to all libertarians to join us in returning the Party to its established purpose. With your help, we will continue offering an alternative to the major parties that supports the principled goal of individual freedom.
We need your help. It is up to every one of us who believes in the goal of Freedom in our Lifetime.
