Oppose Ladywood Regeneration, Birmingham

Oppose Ladywood Regeneration, Birmingham
The Issue
Birmingham City Council are set to regenerate Ladywood without having a proper consultation process.
The local residents have had minimal correspondence which has been of no significant use in explaining this large phased regeneration.
We the residents of Ladywood would welcome improvement to the area with new transportation links and community facilities but not at the cost of having to leave the homes and businesses we have lived in for decades. Memories can’t be bought and being a stones throw from Birmingham City Centre we will be forced to move miles away in other parts of Birmingham.
Over 200 plus tenants and business owners were locked out of one the meetings and 200 were inside.
Birmingham City Council are telling us they can’t find a venue big enough to accommodate 1000’s of Residents.
Birmingham boasts massive venues so this really is not a good excuse.
PLEASE SIGN PETITION AND HELP THE LOCAL RESIDENTS HAVE A SAY BEFORE WE GO GROUND ZERO - NOT OUT OF CHOICE.
