Since hurricane Ian Florida insurance rates across Florida have in many cases doubled, if not tripled in costs across the board. Many insurance companies have also bailed on Florida all together. 

These increased policies and cancellations have impacted most all Florida homeowners. Many on fixed incomes, unable to afford these massive increases. New potential home owners that cannot afford a new home now due to the increase in insurance. Further, those that have an existing mortgage are seeing their mortgage doubled or tripled because of the increased insurance rates! 
These rate increases are impacting all homeowners economically in a drastic way and will continue to do so without help to rectify and regulate these enormous rate hikes! Whether a homeowner has ever filed a claim or not, these hikes have affected all! 

Governor DeSantis Florida needs you to step in and deal with the Florida Insurance commission to make this a priority.
