Hello everyone,

Tomorrow, May 13th, is Resistance Day #1! (#2 is the Meet & Greet on May 22nd, #3 is the next school board meeting on May 27th)

I hope to see as many of you tomorrow night as can come. So many have signed this petition - parents, students (!! Rockstars!), seniors, general community members, you are all important. I hope to see some of all these groups attending tomorrow.

A few things I wanted to mention.

1. There will be a pro-Lucabaugh group in attendance tomorrow. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM. If they start pestering you, walk away. Do not give them any reason to think our anti-Lucabaugh group is angry, or “emotional,” or anything of that nature.
2. A volunteer may be there to pass out pride flags. She has 100 :) You are welcome to take one if you want it. This is her token of resistance to Lucabaugh’s agenda.
3. Signs are welcome. If you bring a sign, keep it short, and write it in big letters.
4. If you want to speak during the public comment session, please email boardcomments@centennialsd.org as soon as you can. If you are speaking against Lucabaugh, we will likely have to wait until the end of the meeting to do so. The board has not put Lucabaugh’s candidacy on the agenda, so then we will be speaking about a “non agenda” item, which means speaking at the end of the meeting.
5. And lastly, if you do speak, remember to start your message by stating your name and where you live. You have a 3 min limit to speak.
