I am Autistic and was working at HMRC as a PAYE advisor.

That was until they fired me due to the effects of Autism, they refused to contact Occupational health as per their guidance and refused to put any reasonable adjustments in place, I was interrogated for number of weeks before being fired due to having this condition.

I had 

1) 100% call quality

2) had completed my level 2 and 3 learning and was ready for my exams

3) Had started my end point assessment due at month 18 of my probation

4) Had completed 47 additional Civil servoce courses

All inside of 4 months!

However

According to the staff at HMRC people with mental impairments or disabilities are a liability to the taxpayer and it is not a good use of taxpayers money to employ them

This needs to change

As it stands numerous complaints have been made and sadly this contempt for the disabled goes all the way to the top

By this petition I hope to

A) End the conduct being carried out by HMRC, through threat of gross misconduct proceedings against those who breach the equality act 2010 and HMRCs internal guidance, or allow it to be done by others

B) if it doesnt end, to either extend the scope of some of the Civil service bodies or extend the scope of their complaints department to deal with HR Complaints
