HSBC has announced 114 branch closures in 2023, including the busy Market Bosworth branch. 

These are additional closures to the vast number they dispatched this year. It is now getting beyond ridiculous.

HSBC does not appear to be truthful in their assessment that these branches are serving less than 250 customers a week. Every time I pop into the Market Bosworth branch I'm in a queue. Market Bosworth is also an extremely busy tourist destination during the majority of the year (Battle of Bosworth site near by) as well as serving local businesses and a large number of retired residents in the immediate community, surrounding villages and smaller boroughs.

This is a poorly thought out decision in this case and unrealistic of HSBC management to force elderly residents, in addition to local businesses to drive almost forty minutes to get to the nearest branch in Hinckley.

This branch is busy and centrally placed. It must remain open.
