Developers from Ohio are attempting to amend the county’s Growth Management Plan and are concurrently seeking a Rezone for 17.5 acres in Golden Gate Estates for 208 High-density residential apartments.
(PL20220003213  &  PL20220002908)
This project is likely to have a major impact on the neighborhood, environment, traffic and compatibility of the surrounding areas including Cherry Wood Drive, Island Walk, Vanderbilt Beach Road, Collier Blvd. and Logan Blvd. Traffic routing in front of the Island Walk Community, may create traffic and safety issues. The approval of this amendment and rezoning, in the MIDDLE of an Estates neighborhood, could lead to further amendments and more spot-zoning for throughout our unique GG Estates community.
