Oppose Any Housing proposal at 45021 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont 94539

The Issue

We are residents of Fremont, living around Grimmer and Warm Springs, raising our concerns over the proposed low housing community near our dwellings. Our community is already grappling with significant issues—crime rates have been on the rise, with frequent break-ins and car theft incidents reported daily; excessive traffic is becoming unmanageable for the limited infrastructure, and a looming homeless issue casts a shadow over our neighborhood's security and quality of life. We fear that adding new homes in this troubled area is set to exacerbate the existing issues. According to a local crime report, our area has witnessed a 13% increase in crime rates over the past year (Fremont Police Department). Additionally, Fremont city traffic data reveals that this sector is already operating at 30% above its capacity, leading to long delays and heightened safety issues. The incoming development is set to put an additional strain on our already burdened community. We, therefore, call for an immediate halt on the construction of this low housing community. By signing this petition, you are standing in solidarity with us—demanding that our concerns are addressed, and our neighborhood's living conditions are not further deteriorated, but improved instead.
