SEH Apartment Opposition: Update & We've Passed 2400 Signatures!

Hi Neighbors! Quick Update: Ambient is moving forward with their proposal of building a 5 story apartment complex at the heart of San Elijo and we continue to be at the critical step of letter writing. It can be long, it can be short, it can use the template or just come from your heart. Regardless, we’d really appreciate if you’d send something in expressing your concern! If you evacuated during the Cocos fire, we encourage you to share a sentence or two about your experience evacuating. If you have been dropped by insurance due to fire risk, please mention that as well.

We’re still waiting to hear when the building will be brought to a city planning commission meeting and will update you as we hear. San Elijo Hills recently shifted into the highest fire risk level in the state, yet it appears that the developer is claiming there are no wildfire or evacuation risks to our community and they are basing this on a 20+ year old environmental report.
