The Issue

Developers have applied for a special use permit (SUP) to build 16 attached townhouses on the parcel of an existing 1840's farmhouse at 3923 Grove Avenue . This represents a density 3 times greater than the underlying R-5 zoning district and almost 2 times the upper limit recommended in the Richmond 300 Master Plan.

The City of Richmond is growing and develoment is expected.  It is welcomed if done in a sustainable way that maintains the charm and character of our neighborhoods.  This SUP does not do that, it simply lines the pockets of the developers at the neighborhoods expense.

Please sign the petition so we can make our voices heard, and get the SUP modified to a more appropriate scale that works for the neighborhood.
