We, the undersigned, make an urgent plea: Open the school doors for Afghan girls. The future of Afghanistan—and its prosperity, stability, and progress—depends on the education of its daughters. A nation that denies education to half its population denies itself the chance to grow, innovate, and thrive. Afghan girls are not just students; they are the future doctors, engineers, teachers, and leaders who will rebuild and strengthen their country.

Education is not a privilege; it is a right. Denying girls access to learning is not only a violation of fundamental human rights but also a devastating setback for Afghanistan’s future. We urge the Afghan authorities to take immediate and decisive action:
