Ukraine is heroically united in  fighting for its freedom and repelling against russian aggression. For the country to survive, not only a strong army is needed, but also a strong economy. We ask Stripe to launch its money transfer services in Ukraine. This will open up opportunities for the development of Ukrainian businesses who are fighting tooth and nail to support the country economically, and provide access to an international system of secure online payments.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has been negotiating with Stripe since 2020 to operate in Ukraine. However, it has not been successful. 

Ukrainians doing business in America can use the Atlas. However, Stripe is not available for Ukrainian business. That is the problem, because our goal is to develop business in Ukraine and support the Ukrainian economy.

Ukraine has a huge number of talented developers. Many of them had traded laptops for weapons to defend their homeland and their families. While others continue to work both for the local economy and the global market. One such example is the large number of professionals who persist in providing their services online. These are lawyers, consulting specialists, representatives of the creative industry, psychotherapists and others who continue to operate and deliver through these trying times. It is imperative that they have comfortable payment options offered by Stripe.

A lot of ukrainian professionals will choose Stripe, because it provides unique expedited processing payment transactions and offers a strong protection from fraudsters. We strongly call for Stripe to join Ukraine and help its citizens receive the service they need to empower day to day business operations and survival of the nation.
