This is not an allegation- so many families feel the same way as the teachers.

From Sothern via Class Dojo tonight 6/22/26 Good evening, Lake Arbor families. I am reaching out because several parents have contacted me regarding a troubling communication that has been shared within our community and on social media. This message was sent by a former staff member and contains allegations and statements that are intended to be divisive and inflammatory. While the communication appears to be directed at me and members of the leadership team personally and professionally, my greatest concern is the impact it may have on our students, families, and the dedicated teachers and staff members who work tirelessly each day on behalf of your children. They should not have to bear the burden of someone else's grievances. Every day, I am reminded of the strength of the Lake Arbor community through conversations with parents, grandparents, caregivers, and family members who share their positive experiences and appreciation for our school. We have accomplished a great deal together, and while there is always more work to do, we have made meaningful progress in support of our students. As members and ambassadors of the Lake Arbor family, I encourage you to speak from your own experiences. If someone approaches you with negative or inflammatory information, I ask that you share what you know firsthand about our teachers, staff, leadership, and school community. Do not allow someone else's narrative to define your reality. Instead, help keep the focus on the work being done for children every day. Lake Arbor belongs to all of us, but most importantly, it is your child's school. Continue to support and protect the positive culture we have built together. As we teach our students, it is important to think critically, seek facts, and recognize that not everything we hear or read is necessarily true. Your voice and your experiences matter. As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, both I and the staff who remain committed to Lake Arbor—approximately 85% of whom are returning next year—look forward to continuing our work in service of your children and our community.
