We, the undersigned students of PSYC1000 DE F20 formally request the immediate cessation of the use of the Respondus Lockdown Browser for this course. We are concerned about the mass collection and the use of our personal information, including recordings of our images, as stated in the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the Data Processing Agreement of Respondus.

We recognize the need to maintain academic integrity, however, we are concerned that this is being achieved not by our institution located in Canada, but by a private company located outside of Canada. We request the course instructor and the university seek alternate modes of evaluations.

We ask that those signing are currently enrolled in PSYC*1000 at the University of Guelph in the F20 semester, and if possible, to use your uoguelph email.
