Please find below reply received by Francis Timmons when an update on Rathcoole Dog Park was requested. This is an update on previous post in February where the council has put off erecting the dog park due to the extent of the works which are due to be carried out in Rathcoole Park in regard to this water main. I have asked Cllr Timmons if the dog park will be included as part of the reinstatement of Rathcoole park in September 2019 and will post update on receipt.

"We are awaiting correspondence from SDCC who might be in a position to further accommodate the Works which, if permitted, would extend use of the Park to its patrons.
  
In the interim, the key dates, in accordance with the Programme of Works, are:

• 01.10.2018 - Take possession of Rathcoole Park for construction of Reception Shaft
• mid March 2019 - completion of pipework within Tunnel (N7 Crossing)
• mid March - end April 2019 little or no activity in Rathcoole Park
• 01.05.2019 - 31.05.2019 - pipelaying from Reception Shaft, through Rathcoole Park and towards Saggart Reservoir
• September 2019 - Reinstatement of Rathcoole Park (completing by end of September 2019).
