On the fiftieth anniversary of the IRA pub bombings in Birmingham, the family of the victims are still seeking truth and justice through seeking a public inquiry. In 2018, I was privileged to sit next to Paddy Hill, one of the Birmingham Six. I listened intently to his story of being the victim of entrapment and police abuse while sharing an Indian with Steve Fettah, Michael O’Brien and Martin Shipman. I recommend reading his story in his book. The CCRC was established because of the horrific abuses towards Birmingham 6. We remember all the victims & wish the families well in their plight for a public inquiry and justice.
