Let's invest in our students' future by getting the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan to divest from fossil fuels. If they will cut funding from companies that produce tobacco, guns and weapons, we must divest from fossil fuels NOW. We must halve global emissions by 2030 and be carbon neutral by 2050 (IPCC, 2018). As we teach our students about climate change and how to be active and engaged citizens, let's join them in this fight for our future.
