The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has signaled they will not renew their contract. We need the provincial government to act via legislation or other methods to ensure the SPCA or some other organization steps up to the plate to ensure animals welfare and safety. This tremendous task must not fall to city/town bylaw officers and or police officers.
