I have not been able to give this matter as much attention as I would like due to the recent loss in my family.  However, this matter IS still important to me! I think it’s important to keep this conversation going regardless of whether or not this petition makes any real difference.  I am going to keep contributing to stopping this, in spite of it causing me to lose friends or changing others opinions of me.

Adult content creators do not have to advertise their adult content on social media.  They choose to do it to make as much money as possible.  They have no qualms about doing it in the most exploitative ways possible. They are indiscriminately sharing explicit content on platforms like Threads, Snapchat, and Discord.  These are apps used by the vast majority of adolescents and teens.  They do this in spite of being warned not to per OF TOS because of the risk it poses to children. These are grown women, some who have kids of their own, who don’t have any issue with our 11-12 year old children viewing their adult content.  Chew on that and really think about how abnormal that really is.

This is how children wind up being victims of sextortion like the boys mentioned in this article.  Adult content is being marketed to minors everyday and it is blurring the lines between what is routine content that is socially acceptable and what is only meant for adult viewers who are not impressionable.
