OnlyFans, commonly known by the average user and referred to in new media as “the porn page that has people hooked!”

It’s often a great opportunity for individual performers to connect with their fans and provide adult content directly to them, but unfortunately as there’s no quality oversight, it can sometimes lead to manipulation of the fans themselves.

Earlier in 2020, popular online influencer “Lizzy Wurst”, often known as the ex-girlfriend of the very popular Viner-turned-YouTuber, Lance Stewart, announces that after many requests, she was “finally” making an OnlyFans.

The average OnlyFans for a celebrity/pornstar/model/etc. runs about $10 a month, however Lizzie decided to charge $30 a month for her content. Among other things, this implies it must be great quality work... it was anything but that.

Her fans, who had been requesting the move, ignored the price set three times higher than most performers, rejoiced and flocked by the hundreds (and soon thousands) to sign up to the point where she now has received 51,800 LIKES! 

Wonderful news for Lizzie who thanked her fans and then proceeded to buy high end photo/video equipment and a new car with this money... but no real content was posted to OnlyFans or provided to those whom gave up their hard earned dollars to this girl.

At best, Lizzie was posting once, MAYBE twice a week, but usually? Zero times a week. This would continue until her fans would vocalize their anger on outlets such as Reddit and Instagram until she would FINALLY address the issue! And then, a couple of Instagram quality pictures would be uploaded along with an apology and that she would finally be uploading more, sometimes claiming she’d upload “every day of the week”, at which point she would stop uploading and certainly never upload “every day” of the week, and beyond that didn’t even upload once a week. In fact, as of the inception of this petition, she’s not uploaded at all this ENTIRE MONTH.

People have been misled and are finally fed up with it. But this “celebrity” who they trusted their hard earned money with, hundreds of thousands of dollars, had already inflicted the damage upon them, taken their money, and misled them the entire way along.

1. Instead of a Patreon or something with more rounded content for fans, she select “OnlyFans”, a site that is most often used by pornstars and models for adult content, a platform that REQUIRES their users to be 18 or over due to the abundant nudity and sexual content that the platform is used for, RARELY ever used for anything else, and in very few locations that were NOT on her OnlyFans, provided a disclaimer there would be “no nudity” where most people would not be able to see it as it was a different platform. Implying one thing while performing another. They knew EXACTLY what people would think when she said she’d make an OnlyFans and what they expected, regardless of the tiny “no nudity” disclaimer posted elsewhere where many would never see it.

2. She made her monthly fee $30! Well above and beyond even the most revealing performers who post every single day of every single week and provide much more explicit content in addition to actually posting and providing their fans with content at all. Further implying quality while not delivering it.

3. Uploads were rare, if ever. Fans would vocalize their complaints until she’d finally upload then go the rest of the month without providing any content. As of July 20, 2020, she has yet to upload even a SINGLE PICTURE. What are people paying her for?

Furthermore, we are at a point in time between the quarantine and lockdowns that provide people with LESS money to spend and MORE time to kill while being unable to work, unable to go outside for many leisure activities, and spending more time in front of their devices. But for three times the amount of a streaming service subscription, people are being charged for little to no content and then right before the end of the month when they would cancel, often told that Lizzie will start posting soon, for example “Juicy June”, at which point they hope for the best that Lizzie will start posting again, only to find themselves charged and without any further content twenty days into July.

The fans NEED to demand a refund. Many fans of Lizzie Wurst are in a young demographic without much expendable income, and even if one fan can spare to lose that money to little to no content, there are many who are hurt by their manipulation.

Lizzie and OnlyFans NEED to honor that refund. We’ve waited far too long. We’ve given too many chances. Lizzie knew EXACTLY what she was implying to her fans by picking the adult used platform “OnlyFans” (which users must be 18 to use, further implying adult content) over a more appropriate platform that is more accommodating of all content like Patreon. She knew what she was expecting and what promises she had made to her fans. Written promises that generated revenue directly to her which went broken, tantamount to false advertising.
