Ethan Klein must be deplatformed. 

Since October 7th, 2023, when a major escalation occurred in the violence Palestinians continue to face, media personality Ethan Klein of "h3h3Productions", the husband of former IOF soldier/personnel Hila Klein, ramped up his xenophobic, racist rhetoric against the Palestinian people. Klein has not seized in his spread of disinformation, equating the cause of the violence Palestinians face to somehow be from themselves, when in reality, the violence is clearly from the Israeli government and settlers.

In addition, Klein's remarks put Jewish people at risk of violence, as he continues to equate anti-semitism to anti-Zionism. His rhetoric also belittles anti-Zionist Jewish people as it grossly challenges and puts in question their faith in Judaism.

Enough is enough. Online media platforms including but not limited to YouTube and Meta/Instagram must take full action in holding Klein accountable for his factually incorrect and discriminatory rhetoric, and deplatform him. "Free speech" does not include the promotion of violence toward others; systemically and otherwise. These platforms must take action to make sure content creators like Klein do not abuse their platforms by spreading hate and disinformation.
