In response to the rising tensions and the ongoing war-like situation between India and Pakistan, students of Bennett University have launched a peaceful protest demanding the immediate shift from offline to online exams. As uncertainty and fear grip the nation, students are expressing deep concern over their safety, mental health, and the urgent need to be with their families during this critical time.

 

Many students come from border areas or regions directly affected by the conflict, making travel to the university both risky and emotionally distressing. Forcing offline exams amidst such national turmoil is being viewed as a disregard for student well-being. Protesters are urging the administration to act with empathy and responsibility by allowing online exams—an accessible and safer alternative that aligns with the realities of the current situation.

 

The students’ message is clear: academic assessments should not come at the cost of personal safety or the emotional need to be close to loved ones during a time of national crisis. Their united voice calls for a swift, fair, and compassionate response from the university.
