One person, one vote in BC municipal elections

Hard to believe we'd have to start a petition to win this basic reform, but B.C.'s billionaires and other well-off landowners should not get more than one vote on Election Day.
Non-resident BC property owners are still eligible to vote in Vancouver municipal elections - as well as the jurisdiction where they live.
Landowners literally have the right to a vote in each of the municipalities in which they own property, plus a vote where they actually live. (See the B.C. government website for more information on our lack of municipal democracy in this province.)
The B.C. government needs to immediately implement 1 person, 1 vote at the local level. This is a basic and overdue democratic reform and should be implemented in time for the October 2022 municipal elections in B.C.
