Dear friends of wildlife and wild places,

The time is now to be heard and to speak up for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This pristine ecosystem is home to Polar Bears, Caribou and many other animals. There is no place for oil and gas exploration in this fragile niche of nature. Please call your representative today and let him/her know that you want the ANWR to remain unchanged and undeveloped as wildlife depends on this area for shelter and food and it deserves permanent protection.

1. The Arctic Cultural and Coastal Plain Protection Act (H.R. 1146) that has been introduced in the US House of Representatives by Rep. Jared Huffman, will give the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge PERMANENT PROTECTION. The House vote is being scheduled for the week of Sept. 9, 2019. Please call your US Representative's office number and ask that they support the passage of H.R. 1146 and give the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge permanent protection.

2. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann just returned from a big trip to Alaska which included the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, please call his D.C. office:

(202) 225-3271

And let him know that we need to grant permanent protection to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and ask him to support Jared Huffman and H.R. 1146.
