Dear friends of wild places,

The time is now critical and we have never been this close to losing the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling! The megacorp, Chevron wants to destroy the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and they don't seem to understand the definition of refuge, which according to Merriam-Webster means; a place that provides shelter or protection. This is public land and it does not belong to the oil industry!

Trump's Interior Department is just days away from signing off on it's plan for drilling in the Arctic Refuge--the very last decision required before they can begin auctioning off this pristine, publicly-owned land to  companies like Chevron.

Other oil giants like BP and Shell have felt the pressure of public opinion and will not pursue land leases for oil exploration. We must keep up the pressure and continue to let our voices be heard for this sensitive ecosystem. The ANWR is truly one of the last wild places on earth and I am determined, with your help, to keep it that way. By keeping this habitat wild we will protect not only Polar Bears but the many other species of animals that call this their home.

Please take a moment and follow the link below to make your comments to Michael Wirth, Chevron's CEO. Let us stand together for wildlife and wild places!

Please feel free to share this petition with your friends, family and other lovers of wildlife.
