ในฐานะคนไทยที่มีความรักในศิลปะมวยไทย ฉันเชื่อว่าการแข่งขันที่มีมาตรฐานสูงสุดเป็นสิ่งจำเป็น เพื่อรักษาชื่อเสียงและคุณค่าของมวยไทย ต่อผู้ชมทั้งในและต่างประเทศ อย่างไรก็ดี การแข่งขันขององค์กร One Championship ซึ่งใช้กติกามวยไทยแบบ 3 ยก ได้สร้างความกังวลให้แก่แฟนมวยไทยอย่างฉันมาก
หนึ่งในประเด็นที่น่ากังวลคือการไม่มีผลเสมอในกรณีที่คะแนนแข่งขันเสมอกัน ซึ่งอาจนำไปสู่การตัดสินที่ค้านสายตาผู้ชม ด้วยเหตุนี้ ฉันเห็นว่าควรมีมาตรการที่ชัดเจนในการตัดสิน เช่น เพิ่มยกตัดสินอีก 1 ยก หากผลออกมาเสมอ
อีกประเด็นที่สำคัญคือ เรื่องน้ำหนักของนักกีฬา ที่ยังไม่สอดคล้องและควรมีการปรับปรุงกติกาให้ชัดเจนกว่าเดิม โดยเฉพาะการทำน้ำหนักที่ไม่เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ ควรมีการปรับคะแนนดิบเพื่อลงโทษผู้ที่ไม่นำน้ำหนักไปในกรอบที่กำหนด เช่น ตัดคะแนนดิบ 1 คะแนน
การตัดสินที่แจ่มชัดและกรอบกติกาที่เข้มงวดจะช่วยเพิ่มความโปร่งใส และสนับสนุนให้มวยไทยเป็นที่ยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวางทั่วโลก ร่วมลงชื่อสนับสนุนการปรับเปลี่ยนนี้เพื่อให้การแข่งขันมวยไทยเป็นธรรมและยั่งยืน
As a Thai person with deep appreciation for the art of Muay Thai, I believe that maintaining the highest standards of competition is essential to preserving the reputation and value of Muay Thai for audiences both in Thailand and around the world. However, the Muay Thai format used by ONE Championship, which consists of only three rounds, has raised significant concerns among Muay Thai fans like myself.
One concerning issue is the absence of a draw outcome when competitors finish with equal scores. This can potentially lead to decisions that appear controversial or inconsistent from the audience's perspective. Therefore, I believe there should be a clear mechanism for resolving such situations, such as adding an extra deciding round if the match ends in a tie.
Another important issue involves athlete weight regulations, which still seem inconsistent and could benefit from clearer rule adjustments. In particular, when fighters fail to meet the required weight standards, there should be more meaningful consequences. For example, a one-point deduction from the fighter’s raw score could be implemented as a penalty for failing to make weight.
Clear judging criteria and stricter regulatory frameworks would improve transparency and further support the global recognition and credibility of Muay Thai.
