A total solar eclipse, as a celestial phenomenon, is something we ALL can enjoy. Therefore, the total solar eclipse breaks through all the categories we big-brained bipeds of Planet Earth make for ourselves. Regardless of our various dietary preferences, the eclipse will be a feast for our senses. Whatever your religion, or lack thereof, the eclipse will be a holy sight to behold. Whatever your race, the eclipse will make you appreciate your humanity and your fellow humans. Whatever your political alignment, the alignment of the sun and the moon will eclipse the partisan division. Think of totality as a moment of darkness that sheds light on the true human unity.
