Investigate CEO of Town of Gawler - Allegations of bullying, harassment and intimidation.
The issue
There are a number of allegations by Town of Gawler (ToG) employees who are too afraid to speak up within their workplace, and previously recorded cases of employees who have felt bullied and harassed by the current CEO of ToG (Mr Henry Inat) and several further allegations of bullying, harassment, vindictive behaviours and intimidation by the CEO directed at employees and councillors both directly and through other team leaders.
When this was addressed in a previous Change.org campaign, Mr Inat made a successful attempt (via technicality) to have the petition removed, and then used that petition to instigate an alleged further bullying case and intimidation regime against those who supposedly "leaked" information.
Gawler Council is renowned for hiding and concealing information, but the vast majority is available if you dig deep enough and compile it from open sources and even their own online resources.
This petition seeks to see Mr Henry Inat investigated by the Fair Work Commission and his performance thoroughly reviewed, particularly prior to his own requested 5 year extension being granted, potentially placing these employee's in further harms way, and not creating an environment in the best interest of personnel or the community.
If Mr Henry Inat has nothing to hide, then he will embrace this opportunity for his name to be cleared and the record to show that these allegations are unfounded. If however he is guilty of both poor performance and mismanagement of his staff, he should be stood down immediately and a replacement be sought elsewhere.
