Problem
Today I witnessed a drastic change with smoke in the air at Ohlone Campus today. With the fire happening from Sacramento, many colleges have cancelled classes for Thursday such as East Bay, UC Davis, SJSU, and etc. This thick, smoky air is not good for our health and lungs and some students are even working outside the classes and inhaling the smoke. The only thing Ohlone College did was send us an email stating that the air quality was dangerous, and that they recommend us to wear respirator masks. Some of us do not have the luxury of getting those things in such small notice and we should just be allowed to cancel classes and resume them next week and not allow this smoke to affect us. We should not be endangering ourselves just for going to class.

Solution
Ohlone College should close both campuses until the air quality is deemed "healthy".
