This change will help my son who is severe autistic at 5 yrs old to keep his service dog( who is a registered emotional supports animal). With out worry of threats to take him away. Who is an American pit bull . My sons service dog has reduced severity in meltdowns and anxiety by 50% has helped him learn to talk ,how to dress ,and that it's OK to like water Wich improved his hygiene skills. Before his service dog named tux oryon could not even say mom . Now he is semi verbal,he can count to 100 with help and encouragement and snuggles from tux,he can communicate using pictures to tell us ( well tux) what he wants or how he feels. and it's all thanks to tux. Tux has even helped my son start potty training Wich is huge because drs all told us oryon would never be able to be potty trained.
