BAGGERS is a community of motorcycle owners and riders whose lives are put in danger even more than not wearing a helmet. Not wearing a helmet is a personal choice, but a motorcyclist does not have a choice when they come around a curve and someone has blown a ton of grass into the roadway! It's a black ice scenario to a motorcyclist. People have been killed and severely injured by this gross neglect. In Ohio, grass is included with littering, but you have to be seen by law enforcement officials.

This proposal would make it a misdemeanor with a fine if it is reported to police that a person is blowing grass into the roadway. This would include $1000 fine for 1st 2000 for 2 and 3000 for 3 if they get to 4 it would be felony public endangerment.

As everyone can be in an accident due to grass in general and especially wet grass, in the event that someone is in an accident due to this action, the person whose grass is in the road is liable for injury and death. Just the same as any other accident that is their fault.

We would present these signatures to the attorney general of ohio for his consideration. At that time, we will pick 3 representatives to present the petition for a new law and regulation to be enacted in the state of Ohio.
