"Dawn Pasela worked at the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and demonstrated a remarkable commitment to justice. Her suspicious death should have sparked outrage in the criminal justice community. Instead, Parma Police did a sham investigation, collecting absolutely no evidence. It's been two years since the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office issued a report identifying necessary investigative steps that should be taken. We cannot tolerate continued inaction. I continue to stand proudly with Dawn and her family, and we welcome officials in the US Attorney's Office and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office to join our efforts."
