Prosecutor Dan Kasaris used the perjured testimony of his girlfriend and government witness Kathryn Clover (pictured above) to convict innocent citizens, then abused his position of authority to spy on Clover by obtaining her phone records.  Kasaris and his colleague, disgraced former federal prosecutor Mark Bennett, also ordered their Office Manager, Dawn Pasela, to illegally record Tony Viola's defense trial preparation.  After coming forward and producing exculpatory evidence suppressed by Bennett and Kasaris, Ms. Pasela was found dead in her apartment after she offered to testify about misconduct inside the prosecutor's office. This and other misconduct has been ignored by the very office set up to prevent injustices and rectify wrongful convictions -- now the entire board of this office has resigned, proving that County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley's campaign promises of "reform" were little more than window dressing ... the full story is below.
