Brady’s life remains at risk. We need your help!

The Issue

Brady has been in custody for over 20 months now at the Town of Sweden Kennel, pursuant to Town of Ogden Court Judge Schiano's decision to sentence him to death. As of July 17, 2020, and on a second appeal, the Fourth Department ruled that decision to be unlawful.

Brady went for a ball that was in the hands of a young child at a Thanksgiving party in November, 2018. Her hands were in front of her face. Brady missed. The child was bit, in what appeared to many present as an accident. The Court ordered Brady's death.

The Town of Sweden dog control officer said Brady is the best dog she has had in her custody in 30 years. 30 years. Previously, Attorney Mathew Albert brought this attention to Judge Schiano and prosecutor Daniel Schum to try to get him released into rescue. They didn't care. They wanted him dead.  Attorney, Matt Albert (and founder of Against All Oddz Animal Alliance inc) has paid thousands of dollars of his own money as well as a ton of blood, sweat, tears, and sleepless nights thinking about this dog while financing and perfecting (legal term) his appeal. It was ruled that Brady can live.

Here is where the victory stalled. Instead of releasing Brady, the Fourth Department sent the case back to Judge Schiano. Brady's life is passing him by as he had the misfortune to live in a town that, from my perspective, cannot stand pit bulls. Fear and prejudice thrive in the Town of Ogden, while justice and compassion flounder. Brady needs an army here folks.

Please tell Town Justice Schiano to release Brady to Against All Oddz Animal Alliance inc so he can receive professional training and love. He will get whatever he needs to recover from being in a shelter for almost two years and rescue will ensure he has the training needed to ensure he is a good citizen.

Pleas sign, share, send letters, make calls. Spread the word. Brady's life depends on it.
