I moved to Footscrazy as a Brunswick culture refugee 5 years ago. This vibrant suburb has always been a haven for the neurodiverse. It's time we honor that by officially changing its name to Footscrazy. For every brave soul who's staggered through Nicholson Street Mall, screaming obscenities at the sky. And in doing so, helped to slow the immigration of yuppie yacht people into our sublime suburb. Let's stand firm against gentrification, rent increases, pretentious wine bars, and haute couture that has desecrated most inner Melbourne suburbs.
