Stanley was a loving, friendly, family dog. On October 5th 2021 Stanley was shot four times and killed by police officer Williams. The cfpd was searching the family’s neighborhood for a fugitive. As they were searching, Stanley was let out one more time for the night. Stanley went to the female officer, then went to officer Williams. Officer Williams than turned around, ran, turned back around and shot Stanley four times. As my parents were standing watching Stanley pass away, the officer threatened to arrest my dad. 
Stanley was more than just a dog. He was my best friend. He saved my life when I was at my lowest. He would put his head on my shoulder when I was crying. He always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. 
Stanley never deserved this. He deserved to live a long healthy life. He was only 3. He deserved to be a happy dog. He meant so much to my family, and many many others. Even though we can’t get our beloved Stanley back, we can try to get justice by spreading the word.
