On Tuesday, Save Our Coast Mumbai hosted a panel discussion, "The Road Not Taken," with prominent environmentalists, architects and transportation experts. The overwhelming turnout reflects Mumbaikars' commitment to democratic values, and belief in the need for transparency in decision making about infrastructure projects that affect our future.

Next week, the matter will be heard by the Bombay High Court. The petitioners and their legal teams are in the midst of preparing for making a strong legal case against the project.
