Provide salary, food, and accommodation to daily-wagers in coronavirus crisis
The Issue
As the whole country has undergone lockdown, daily-wagers and labourers worst hit by this situation. Many of them have lost their jobs and forced to migrate to their homes. There has been a mass exodus of labourers since the government announced a lockdown.
They have been deprived of food, essentials, and proper sanitization in this worst crisis. These marginalised communities in the unorganised sector are most vulnerable to the disease because of their inability to access hygiene products.
Their accommodation is also utmost necessary to avoid their migrations in crowd to further stop crowd gathering for the reasons we know.
Let's stand together for them in this crisis and request the Government of India to provide them their daily wages, clean accommodation, and essentials so they can stay safe during this pandemic. Let's sign this petition and give all those people their voice. It's the least we can do for them.
