As we all know many colleges have issued a notice regarding the admission and payment of fees for the academic year 2020-2021. During lockdown down as we know, a lot of parents have lost their jobs or had cut in their pay. Still, many private businesses are not yet open since March, and many parents are struggling financially. There are house rent, shop rent, electricity bills, and many more things that are pending and yet to pay.
Many parents wouldn't be able to pay the full fees of colleges. Colleges are taking online lectures and we can't predict how many months more this way of teaching will continue. Yet the colleges are asking us to pay the full fees which include library fees, development fees, sports fees, laboratory fees, wifi, etc. We should request our colleges to charge only 70 % of tuition fees.

Why fees relaxation?
1. Colleges are not using any of its resources like electricity, water, classroom, library, laboratory, wifi, etc.
2. Colleges have reduce the lecture duration from 8hr to 5hr yet asking use to pay the full fees.
3. Staffs are teaching us from their home (No need of transportation).
4. Students have to pay for their data packs and wifi to participate in online lectures.
5. Many colleges are asking students to pay the bus fees too which they are not using in this situation.
6. There is no point of paying 1.5-2lakhs for online teaching if we're able to get all this through platform like YouTube and other platforms for no cost.

We are not asking to completely waive the fees but there must be certain relaxation so that we can also afford it.Therefore we are demanding our colleges to charge only 70% of tution fees.

No student will pay the fees until colleges give this relaxation in fees.
