We call upon The University of Iowa to highlight the prohibited conduct as described under the University of Iowa Operations Manual Section II Chapter 4.1 detailing policy on sexual misconduct in the Code of Student Life Section D. We also call for the termination of housing contracts of students found guilty by the Student Judicial Procedure of sexual misconduct as described in the University of Iowa Operations Manual Section II Chapter 4.1. 

Title IX states "When students suffer sexual assault and harassment, they are deprived of equal and free access to an education." The failure of the University to specifically list sexual misconduct under the Code of Student Life, as well as their support of perpetrators remaining on campus is a violation of student rights as protected by Title IX.
