26th May: Reclaim your city! ...or something like that & some news

Hi dear good ones ...to us the best ones! We just want to inform you about the outcome of the gathering of the Municipality's Committee of "Urban Development and Environmental Issues" (from 11th of May). Well...: There ain't one. The vote was postponed. Good for us? ... At least there were no objectives to the topic of our expansion (in opposition to their initial plans to push us away), and we now know that we already have three local parties on our side! :) ...unfortunately, yet not enough for a majority... so, it is even still not assured that we may stay. We also experienced pretty much appreciation of our project by the neighbors of our district, when we (again) presented our matter during a local community forum. It feels so good to have our neighbors' support!!! :) So this Friday, we are going to take our protests out on the streets. The demonstration starts at Osnabrück's main train station at 4 PM. As already written in the last update, it's going to be about us and our place, but also about all autonomous spaces, alternative and community forms of living, about the lack of affortable flats, against gentrification. If you aren't too far away, please, try to make it!!! Afterward, there is going to be the possibility to chill out at our place, with community kitchen and beverage.
