Let's go demonstrate in May!

Hello dear supporters! Even though we do not have any results to announce yet, we wanted to inform you about a gathering of the Municipality's Committee of "Urban Development and Environmental Issues" (Ausschuss für Stadtentwicklung und Umwelt) next Thursday, 11th May (5 PM). Our topic will be discussed during the meeting after a leftish party brought it in on our behalf. And it doesn't only treat a change in the local building plans, so we could stay, but it also includes our idea to expand (!) our place right there where we have been living for 20 years now. We are quite nervous about the outcome, since we have been fighting for so long now, done a whole lot of PR, and gone through many visits and discussions so far... In addition, we would like to invite you all to our demonstration that is going to take place on 26th May, at 4 PM, starting from Osnabrück's main train station. It's going to be about us and our place, but also about autonomous spaces, alternative and community forms of living, about the lack of affortable flats, against gentrification. If you aren't too far away, please, try to make it!!! Afterward, there is going to be the possibility to chill out at our place, with community kitchen and beverage. (Sure, you will find a place to crash!) Because we are still waiting for further decisions of the local authorities, we ask you to, please, keep campaigning for our cause! Thank you a lot!
