Dear Oe-su Lee,

You have stated that you “want to demonstrate that Koreans are the most warm-hearted people in the world" as an Honorary Ambassador of PyeongChang 2018.  We admire your hard work and dedication, as we understand these qualities all too well ourselves here at KoreanDogs.org where we actively raise awareness and petition for the end of the dog/cat meat trade in South Korea where they are tortured and butchered for food.

Living up to your words, please show the world through demonstration that Korea is warm-hearted and utilize your voice to passionately connect with your public, bringing awareness and promoting change regarding this illegal industry, please help us to end this trade and save the animals we love and call family.

Campaigning and advocating change is a constant demonstration of our compassion and determination to provide better lives and a better world for these animals, and we will not stop until this vision is realized.

While individual acts of advocacy are important, standing together in One Voice is powerful beyond measure.  Oe-su Lee, we here at KoreanDogs.org kindly ask you to please use your public platform to raise awareness for this issue, to give a voice to those who have none, and create compassionate change for South Korea.
