SAVE PORTERS FIELD MEADOW ON LEYTON MARSH

SAVE PORTERS FIELD MEADOW ON LEYTON MARSH
The Issue
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED DEMAND THAT THE OLYMPIC DELIVERY AUTHORITY SAFELY REMOVES ALL THE ASBESTOS-CONTAMINATED RUBBLE FROM THE BUILDING SITE ON PORTERS FIELD MEADOW, LEYTON MARSH, IMMEDIATELY.
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED call on the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and Waltham Forest Borough Council to ensure that the "Reinstatement Plan" and any other proposals for Leyton Marsh:
places the long-term sustainable future of Porters Field Meadow as a green open space as its prime aim.
is the result of wide discussion among local people and Marsh users in both Hackney and Waltham Forest.
represents genuine collaborative agreement with the Olympic Delivery Authority.
is supported by environmental agencies and community organisations including Users Groups and Save Leyton Marsh campaign.
enables the Marsh land to have the optimum chance to recover from the seven months of excavation, construction and demolition within a timeframe acceptable to the communities.
