Allow transgender students to use the bathroom in which they feel comfortable, based on the gender they identify as.

I am transgender. I am biologically female, but have come to the realization that I align myself with the male gender.
I thought this would mean I'd be allowed to use the boys' facilities while at school/ school functions, but my guidance couselor told me I couldn't do that because it might make students, parents of students, or visitors to the school uncomfortable. I was also told to avoid using the girls' facilities, and to restrict my restroom usage to the nurse's bathroom or the single unisex bathroom upstairs. This is inconvenient, isolating, and unethical.
It is wrong to insist I use the unisex bathroom because to separate me from the other students because of my gender identity is akin to segregation. It is also wrong to insist I use the girls' facilities because I'd be forced to either disclose my status as transgender or to deny that I am the gender I identify as should a female student question my presence in that bathroom.
I'm hoping to use this petition in conjunction with a paper one I will be having people sign at school to prove to the school board that both students and their parents are not only tolerant of me, but supportive of my cause. This is intended to show that they believe I should have access to the boys' facilities as much as my family and I do.
I want to set a precedent in my school so that no other student will have to fight against this. Please help me change life for transgender students at the Performing Arts Academy by signing my petition.
