Community Gathering Update!
Our petition to include a full-time traditional school option to the Board for consideration now has 615 signatures – including you!
Despite the recent news that Governor Newsom may force our schools to remain closed for a time this fall, we are continuing our plans to get together tomorrow morning to discuss this.
Please, please, please – spread the word to everyone you know.
The Governor’s decision does not mean a definitive end to in-person schooling, it depends on the status of the Covid crises at the time. The outlook is not good at the moment, but that could change – and we certainly hope it does.
We still need to make sure our District hears what it’s parents want for their kids!

When: Saturday, July 18th, at 10am.
Where: Martin Luther King Park, 4300 Mesa Dr, Oceanside, CA 92057
MLK Park is on Mesa Blvd between Ivey Ranch Elementary and King Middle School.
We’ll be meeting on the baseball diamond to the west of the facilities, which allows for enough space to maintain proper social distance between family groups. Please respect the current rules for helping to prevent the spread of Covid-19, for everyone’s sake.

The link above shows the planned meeting place, you should be able to park in the lot, on the street, or further west is additional parking.
We welcome not only parents, but any community members who are interested in our kids’ education this fall.
