I’ve spent my time from late 2020 well into 2022 helping or being involved with criminal people and who struggled with addiction. Running them around for court dates, rehab or meetings, pee tests, etc. All a pain in the butt.. And half of Portage County and the U.S are on drugs or recovering. Crime is always up.. People are released on bail & repeat the same stuff. It’s all about money with the courts. It needs to change.
People go to jail for the first time or for the 10th or 15th time, and they’re not learning nothing. They keep getting released. Repeating the same thing. So the system’s not working. It’s all about money instead of fixing the problem. The courts always have this bail out thing with money. People come up with money somehow or pay the bondsman. Bondsman businesses start up because of court bails. Then they take your money to the judge & make a deal for the person to do their court dates & probation. Which is a pain in the butt & doesn’t work.. 

People need to stay in, get rehabbed, avoid prison, do productive things. Be assessed on whether they should be released or not. That’s what we have lawyers.. Get rid of money.. By letting people out on bail, you’re putting society at risk and themselves. Putting people in danger. You’re not helping by releasing them out, thinking they’ll be any different. They won’t be. They need rehabbed and taught how not do stuff again. I dealt with it, it doesn’t work. No one likes doing pee tests or following months or years of probation. They’ll sneak & get away with it. You’re wasting time on probation, it’s pathetic.. And they can be prevented on going to prison.. 

People do what they do or act how they act from how they grew up whether it was good or bad. Bad experience or trauma or exposure to things or their parents doing stuff or fighting, etc. Abusive childhoods or parents on drugs or alcohol. So people are exposed and either gotta not be like their parents or they fall into that trap.. The dad doing perverted stuff, that provokes the son to copy.. You see past history on crime and horror stories. And you look at criminal teens, school shooters, etc, who were/or bullied. Stuff needs figured out, people need understood..
