Overwhelming thanks to local Mount Isa Rate Payers Lucy, Gayle and Leanne for their tremendous efforts to attend this special Council meeting at unexpected and ill-informed short public notice. They amazingly presented their genuine, factual and direct feedback on MICC proposed 2022/2023 budget to MICC & Councillors, as well perfectly represented the majority of Mount Isa Rate payers views and opinions about MICC & Councillors ridiculous proposed new projects  overspend and rate rise price hikes.

NB# Upon close inspection you can view besides hearing the rudeness, arrogance, contempt and unprofessionalism displayed by Councillors (in particular Cr Kim Coghlan) & CEO David Keenan repeatedly displayed to all community rate payer representatives and Mayor Danielle Slade through out the delivery of their speeches & meeting proceedings.

I strongly encourage you to ring MICC and speak directly to the Councillors for another opportunity to provide your rate rise objection feedback prior to Wednesday 15/06/2022, where final budget financial deliberations and rate rise decisions will be concluded.

Please continue signing and sharing this important petition, to reiterate to Councillors the importance and seriousness of this rate rise issue is, if Councillors choose to ignore their rate payers and communities strong rate rise objections.
