MICC Website Technical Issues downloading budget feedback forms

I have been informed by some rate payers that the MICC website link connecting you directly to view or download the draft 2022/2023 budget feedback form, has strangely not been successfully connecting to their web browser or opening the document for a complete and successful download, for them to provide their on-line rate rise objections and other feedback relating to their draft 2022/2023 budget

Hopefully this seemingly realistic technical glitch gets rectified immediately to ensure MICC continues to receive the inflow of our rate payers rate rise objections and feedback correspondence within MICC’s deadlines. It’s also imperative all objectors and petitioners will be fully supported by MICC through inclusion and democratic transparency to better equip Councillors with decision making and concluding a quantitative and qualified rate payer response to immensely attribute and impact on Councillors final decision on MICC current Rates position.

Please continue to keep sharing this petition to other rate paying families and friends affected by this proposed MICC Councillors 6% rate rise & 3% water rate increase for their awareness. If you have any concerns about possible MICC/Councillors negative repercussions whilst in your current position within this community/country for making this strong stance against rate rises by speaking out and supporting this important petition, be reminded you have an option to sign anonymously so you will be offered the choice whether you permit change.org to display your name and feedback publicly on this petition.

Reminder;  After receiving official in-house MICC advice on 31/05/2022, it has been confirmed all feedback will still have to be considered (including this signed petition) and accepted by MICC up until Wednesday 15th June 2022, for deliberations and when a final decision will be made in direct relation to any rate rise increases.

You can also submit your objection feedback on their MICC Website (if that link is working) or pick up a hard copy from the MICC office, it’s also acceptable to write your own letter and e-mail it to city@mountisa.qld.gov.au
